Associated with The Michigan Nude Beach Advocates, this recently formed group is looking for enthusiastic naturists in or near Washtenaw County who are willing to work toward the development of a nude beach in Washtenaw County and the opening of the county's recreation building to nude recreation on Saturday nights.  Members will be expected to attend some meetings for discussion and planning.  To join this group's Facebook page or our site on Naturist Hub, you must be invited by one of our members.  There are open events that you can attend to get met and get added as a member.  E-mail mnbadvocates.org to receive notices of open events.

 There are no nude beaches in Michigan outside of Turtle Lake Resort.  You can search out some remote beach and hike out to an even remoter spot.  That's up to you.  Do advocate for nude beaches.  Click on the "Advocacy Ideas" Tab.

Ontario has a couple nude beaches that are not too far: 

Toronto has an official nude beach, Hanlan's Point, on Toronto Island.

There is also an unofficial but well used nude beach adjacent to Port Burwell Provincial Park on Lake Erie.  Park in lot #5 and head up the beach from there.  It is a surprisingly sandy and beautiful beach - Shallow water and hard packed sand base makes for great play. About 3/4 mile walk to nude use area, so pack efficiently.  About a 2-1/2 to 3 hour drive from either Detroit or Port Huron. 

Don't forget that Michiganders need a passport or enhanced driver's license to cross the border.
